PER CURIAM:

Appellant was convicted by the court sitting without a jury of assault on a minor child in violation of Maryland Code, Article 27, Section 11A(a)1 and sentenced to one year under the jurisdiction of the Department of Correction. He contends on this appeal that the State failed to prove the corpus delicti and that the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction.
