Old Rubicon Road is an unimproved trail or roadway traversing mountainous areas of Placer and El Dorado Counties. It runs southwesterly from State Highway 89, near Lake Tahoe in Placer County, winds over the Sierras and eventually terminates in Georgetown, El Dorado County.
