The defendant was found guilty by a jury and sentenced to the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Walpole on an indictment charging him with being an accessory before the fact to the crime of confining for the purpose of stealing from a bank. The trial was made subject to G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G.
