Charles D. Brewer brought this habeas corpus proceeding against his divorced wife, Mrs. Brenda Gale Sparks Macaluso, seeking to obtain custody of the minor child, Charles D. Brewer, Jr., (aged 2) sole issue of their marriage. The defendant answered and reconvened seeking permanent custody of the child.
