Sam Joseph Russo, Jr. instituted this action against Wilkerson J. Eschete and his liability insurer, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, seeking to recover $47,000 in damages for injuries allegedly sustained in an automobile accident which occurred November 30, 1965, in the city of Houma, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.
