This suit was filed by American Casualty Company, as plaintiff, and against the Town of Port Allen and its liability insurer, the Travelers Insurance Company, as defendants, for recovery, under a subrogation claim, of damages paid plaintiff's assured, Miss Emma Landry, as a result of a fire and explosion at her residence in Port Allen.
