Defendant Wyatt Harold Starkey was convicted by a jury of manslaughter pursuant to CL 1948, § 750.821 (Stat Ann 1954 Rev § 28.553), the victim being Malinda Reid, with whom he lived. He was sentenced to 3 to 15 years imprisonment.
