On November 1, 1966, Albert A. Cook, the alleged common-law husband of the plaintiff, Betty Lou Cook, died as a result of being struck in Delaware by a tractor-trailer owned by the corporate defandant, Carolina Freight Carriers Corp., and operated by the individual defendant, Henry Schronce, Jr. Thereafter, plaintiff, claiming to be the "widow" of the decedent, Albert A. Cook, filed an action under 10 Del.C. § 3704(b)...
