This is a personal injury action brought by Ofmani, a longshoreman, against the Holland-America Line, owner of the S.S. Schiedyk, alleging negligence and unseaworthiness in the loading of the vessel. Holland-America impleaded the stevedore employer, International Terminal Operating Co., Inc., claiming that liability, if any, was the result of negligence and breach of implied warranty of workmanlike performance by the latter.
