This is a joint action brought by Marjorie Desmarais and her husband, James Desmarais, to recover damages resulting from an automobile collision at the intersection of Spruce and "C" streets in the city of Iron Mountain, Michigan on March 11, 1967, at approximately 10:55 a.m. Just before the accident, the plaintiff-wife was driving the family car, a 1962 Mercury Comet, north on Spruce street.
