On June 6, 1961, in the afternoon, the plaintiff was traveling in a westerly direction on Mack avenue in the city of Detroit. The defendant, Joseph H. Williams, a cab driver, was traveling in a northerly direction on Dubois and allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign for Mack avenue and consequently collided with the vehicle driven by the plaintiff.
