Appellee filed a suit in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to recover damages for personal injuries he sustained on August 10, 1966. Because of diversity of citizenship and the amount in controversy the defendants, Alfred Watland and Superwood Corporation, removed the case to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. A jury trial resulted in a verdict for appellee of $36,300. This appeal is from the...
