This suit was instituted by Evelyn Francis to recover the proceeds alleged to be due on a life insurance policy issued by defendant, Universal Life Insurance Company, insuring the life of plaintiff's deceased husband. The trial judge held that the policy had lapsed for nonpayment of premiums, and that plaintiff thus was not entitled to recover the face value of that policy.
