PER CURIAM:

Defendant Vito Giacalone was convicted of the offense of possession of a blackjack. MCLA § 750.224 (Stat Ann 1962 Rev § 28.421). He was sentenced by the trial judge to a term of 4-3/4 to 5 years. Following denial of his motion for a new trial, he filed a claim of appeal with our Court.

His application for bail on appeal was denied by the trial judge. He has now applied to us for bail.
