This is an appeal from a judgment in amount of $28,000 entered after a jury trial, in favor of the plaintiff, Robert W. Holderness, and against the defendant, Checker Taxi Company, a corporation, for personal injuries sustained while the plaintiff was a passenger for hire in a cab operated by the defendant.
