Billy Edward Jennings (appellant) and George Lewis Creswell were jointly indicted but separately tried in the Circuit Court for Cecil County. The indictment contained nine counts. The first seven counts charged the commission of offenses on 1 October 1968 with respect to the dwelling house and personal property of Marple H. Lynch and Mildred N.
