The appellant, Ernest C. Richey, who had been previously employed by respondent, Riegel Textile Corporation, applied for benefits under the South Carolina Employment Security Law. He was, over his protests, automatically separated from his employment with Riegel at age 65 under a company retirement plan in which he had participated. His claim was denied by the Employment Security Commission upon findings that he, in effect, voluntarily...
