This case grew out of an explosion of a gas main at the corner of Broadway and Kinsmoor, also known as Old Mill Road, in the downtown area of Fort Wayne, Indiana, on February 3, 1966, near the residence of Plaintiff-Appellee, Regina Otis. Appellee filed her complaint on August 25, 1966, for personal injury damages as a result of said explosion, which as amended, in substance, alleges:
