This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction of robbery in the first degree.

A resume of some of the evidence is as follows: shortly after noon on March 6, 1968, Mrs. Helen Jackson was working as a checker at a delicatessen market on West Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.
