This matter involves an appeal of a conviction of murder in the first degree.

The facts in brief are that three boys, one of which was the defendant, appellant herein, had, at approximately 9 p. m., on September 14, 1968, entered a small neighborhood grocery store owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Hadley Campbell and located in the north end of the city of Columbus.
