The only question with which we find it necessary to deal in this appeal is whether that portion of our "long arm" statute1 which provides that our courts may exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident who "commits a tortious act within this State" can be construed to cover a situation where a nonresident corporation allegedly commits a tortious act outside...
