Defendant Richard Ciatti appeals from his conviction by jury on January 30, 1968, of knowingly making false statements of material fact in the assignment of the certificate of title to a motor vehicle contrary to CLS 1961, § 257.254 (Stat Ann 1968 Rev § 9.1954).
