Defendant was convicted in the Municipal Court of Newark on three charges of assault and battery in violation of the disorderly persons statute and of a further charge of resisting arrest in violation of a local ordinance. He appealed to the County Court where upon a trial de novo, R.R. 3:10-10(a), he was again convicted on all charges. Both courts imposed...
