In 1960, appellants, Russell and Barbara Sitton, executed, in Texas, a note and deed of trust to T. J. Bettes Company to secure a loan for the purpose of buying a home in Dallas, Texas. At the request of the Sittons, the note was partially guaranteed by the Veterans Administration pursuant to the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, as amended, 38 U.S.C.A. § 1803.
