This is an eminent domain proceeding brought by the Forest Preserve District of Du Page County, to acquire a 218 1/2-acre farm located in Lisle Township, for forest preserve purposes. The jury returned a verdict of $760,000 as compensation for the land taken. The trial court entered judgment on the verdict, and the plaintiff appealed.
