Petitioner was convicted in The Recorder's Court of the City of Detroit of violating the state narcotics laws, and was sentenced on August 22, 1967 to ten (10) to twenty (20) years' imprisonment in the State Prison of Michigan, Southern Division, at Jackson, Michigan.
