HOLT, Justice.

The appellant was charged by information with the crime of robbery. A jury found him guilty and assessed his punishment at 12 years imprisonment in the State Penitentiary. From the judgment on that verdict comes this appeal. On appeal appellant first questions the validity of all proceedings preliminary to his trial of the alleged offense.
