REYNOLDS, District Judge.

Petitioner, who was confined in the Wisconsin State Prison, filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus with this court on August 7, 1967. The State of Wisconsin filed a return and the petitioner a traverse. An attorney was appointed to represent petitioner before this court.
