This action was commenced in the District Court of Curry County, New Mexico, upon an indebtedness allegedly owing by Guy T. Sowell to Jack and Gwen Williams, who had allegedly assigned the obligation to plaintiffs-appellants Johnsons, to collect the monies to be due.
