Plaintiff's complaint alleged that prior to June 1, 1966, he had been employed by defendant as a plumber and for other work. He claimed that from January 1, 1963 until the above date he expended over 2,000 hours of labor for which he was not paid the agreed rate of $5.50 per hour.
