By grand jury indictment John Watson and James E. Redus were jointly charged with first degree murder in the death of Joseph Klearman. By substitute information in lieu of indictment they were subsequently charged with the same offense, and the substitute information also alleged two previous convictions of a felony by Redus and four previous convictions of a felony by Watson. On November 3, 1966, Redus entered a plea of guilty to second degree...
