Plaintiffs-appellants, employees or former employees of defendants-appellees, brought suit in the Superior Court of Puerto Rico for back wages claimed to be due because of defendants' failure to comply with Puerto Rico wage and hours legislation. Defendants removed to the District Court on the ground of diversity, where the action was eventually dismissed with prejudice for failure to prosecute. No appeal was taken.
