Initially this case involved deficiencies and additions to tax, asserted by respondent, for a twenty-five year period as follows: for the taxable years 1939 through 1949, $226,879.19 deficiencies in income tax and $131,093.17 additions to tax; for the taxable years 1950 and 1951, $66,763.02 deficiencies in income tax and $42,385.88 additions to tax; for the taxable years 1952 through 1960, $283,624...
