Henry Hester, defendant, appeals from an order of March 18, 1968, which continued in effect a permanent alimony provision of $700 per month in the interlocutory decree of divorce.

The interlocutory judgment of divorce of January 6, 1967, based upon an oral stipulation of the parties, provided in part: "IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that defendant shall pay to plaintiff as and for her support...
