This is an action for damages for personal injuries allegedly sustained by plaintiff John McPhee. Plaintiffs are citizens of the State of Wisconsin. Defendant Simonds Saw and Steel Company (hereinafter Simonds) was, at the time of the injury in question, a Massachusetts corporation with offices in Chicago, Illinois.
