In January of 1959, defendant Morris Martin became chairman of the Synagogue Building Committee. On April 22, 1959, plaintiff contracted with Ira J. Miller, a professional fund raiser, to assist in raising funds to build a new synagogue. Miller commenced his activities on May 11, 1959.
