Plaintiffs sued the Sheriff of Etowah County, and the surety on his official bond, for damages allegedly sustained by plaintiffs as the result of the action of the sheriff in levying execution on and selling certain personal property of plaintiffs to satisfy a judgment rendered against plaintiffs by the Circuit Court of Etowah County.
