This is an action for damages arising out of the construction of an ice rink known as the Burien Ice Chalet. Plaintiff Chalet employed an architect and a general contractor to design and construct the building, and employed defendant to design and install the ice arena portion of the project. The architect had no experience in the design of refrigeration installations, so plaintiff directed him to consult with Mr. Frost, defendant's supervisor, on all details...
