Petitioner Francis R. Hunt, employed by The Miami Herald Publishing Company, was injured on the job when he fell through the bottom of the floor of a newspaper delivery truck which had been leased to his employer by respondent Ryder Truck Rentals. Hunt received Workmen's Compensation benefits from the Herald and thereafter sued Ryder in Dade County Circuit Court, contending that Ryder had negligently supplied a truck with a rotten
