KELLY, Associate Judge:

Appellant was convicted by the court of assault1 and petit larceny2 and sentenced to consecutive terms of one year on each charge. He asserts on appeal that the evidence was insufficient to support the conviction of assault and that it was error to impose consecutive sentences.
