The plaintiff, Vavoline Oil Company, filed this concursus proceeding1 to determine conflicting claims to certain royalty paid under oil, gas and mineral leases. Impleaded as conflicting claimants are: (1) the Concordia Parish School Board,2 and (2) F. Nock LeMeunier, Jr., et al., hereinafter referred to as the private claimants.
