The defendants George R. Pinto and John T. Dirring were convicted under indictments charging each with armed robbery. The cases were tried pursuant to G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G. Both appealed.

The evidence may be summarized as follows: On April 24, 1963, about five to ten minutes past 10 A.M. a robbery occurred at the Bristol County Trust Company in Taunton. Four bank employees were on the premises at the time. They testified that two men...
