This case is here on appeal from the Ingham county circuit court, which entered a judgment for the issuance of a writ of mandamus compelling the defendant board of canvassers to recertify the results of a special election held in the city of Lansing on February 20, 1967. Application for bypass of the Court of Appeals was granted by this Court on August 3, 1967.
