This case turns on the proper construction of Maryland Code (1957, 1967 Repl. Vol.) Art. 66 1/2, § 115 (the Act), which provides for service of process upon non-resident owners or operators of motor vehicles. The history of the Act can be found in Hunt v. Tague, 205 Md. 369, 375-77, 109 A.2d 80 (1954).
