In March 1966 a superior court grand jury in Anchorage, Alaska, returned the following indictment against appellant:

INDICTMENT

LARCENY IN A BUILDING — AS 11.20.150

THE GRAND JURY CHARGES:

That on or about the 18th day of March, 1966, at or near Anchorage, in the Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, Frank Gotch Stewart did wilfully, unlawfully and feloniously commit the crime...
