The relator has filed a Petition for a writ of habeas corpus alleging that his conviction in 1965 pursuant to a trial by jury, was illegal. The Court imposed a sentence of 6 to 12 years imprisonment, on the charge of rape, and associated offenses.1 On appeal, the judgments of sentence were affirmed, Commonwealth v. Dixon,
