Dan Jack Combs, of the Kentucky bar, appeals his conviction of criminal contempt by the Honorable Bernard T. Moynahan, United States District Judge, sitting in the Eastern District of Kentucky, Pikeville. Combs was fined $100 and committed to jail until the fine be paid.1 The alleged contempt was the introduction and use of a tape recorder in a proceeding to determine the qualifications of the District Judge...
