Defendant appeals from his conviction, by a jury, of kidnaping for the purpose of robbery, the victim suffering bodily harm, Penal Code section 209, two counts of armed robbery, Penal Code section 211a, and two counts of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, Penal Code section 245. Defendant admitted a prior conviction of felony. The jury was unable to agree upon a verdict as to the guilt of the codefendant, his brother.
