FLORIDA INTER-ISLAND SHIP. CORP. v. WILLSON INTER., LTD.

No. 67-504.

213 So.2d 593 (1968)

FLORIDA INTER-ISLAND SHIPPING CORP., a Florida Corporation, Appellant, v. WILLSON INTERNATIONAL, LTD., Inc., a Florida Corporation, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida. Third District.

Rehearing Denied September 17, 1968.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Raymond T. Greene, Miami, for appellant.

Burton R. Levey and Michael J. Getelman, Miami, for appellee.

Before CHARLES CARROLL, C.J., and HENDRY and SWANN, JJ.

PER CURIAM.

In this action by an owner of cargo against a carrier, the plaintiff recovered judgment and the defendant appealed. We have considered the contentions of the appellant in the light of the record and briefs and find them to be without merit. The issue of damage to cargo in transit was tried on conflicting evidence. The judgment is supported by competent evidence which it was within the province of the trier of facts to accept.
