OPINION OF THE COURT

GANEY, Circuit Judge.

In this longshoreman's in personam civil action to recover for injuries sustained by him while he was assisting in unloading a cargo vessel in the Port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the jury found for the defendant-appellee shipowner. The basis for the action was the claimed unseaworthiness of the vessel or the negligent operation of the vessel, or both.
